"Use of English" is one of the core parts of the university entrance exam in Andalucía (Spain). In this post we'll revise how to turn the following sentences into the passive voice. As with the rest of the "PEvAU - Selectivividad" articles, all the examples are taken from different exams from 2007 to 2019.
1. My parents helped me out of drug abuse.
2. A man in a mask has stolen all our belongings.
3. They have broken into my car twice this month.
4. Netflix has turned unhealthy behaviour into a part of modern culture.
5. Doctors advise weak patients to gain weight gradually.
6. I gave him a book for his birthday.
7. Teenagers give careful consideration to their image.
8. The council will build three hundred new houses in this area.
9. They claim that the Third Industrial Revolution started a few years ago.
10. People say that Iceland’s waterfalls are wonderful.
