PAU Andalucía - Use of English - Rephrasing - nuevo modelo de examen 2025. Consejos y ejemplos. 321LearnEnglish.com

Rephrasing or sentence transformation is an exercise that involves reformulating sentences, that is, expressing the same idea in a different way. This exercise appears in B1, B2, or C1 Cambridge exams and in the university entrance exams of most institutions.

What does this exercise involve? You are given a sentence, which you must rewrite using a specific word or structure, while maintaining a meaning as close as possible to the original sentence.

Rephrasing exercises are designed to demonstrate your mastery of grammatical structures and your linguistic resources.

Rewrite the following sentences without changing the original meaning. The new sentence must clearly present a different linguistic structure. Begin as indicated or use the words in brackets. The words provided must not be changed in any way.
